Ranton, the child of Nonoy announced on Thursday that his father has passed away. The statement that was released on the internet stated that the family requested prayers and allow the family to grieve peacefully without any interruption of their privacy. The news was released the same day of the death. The cause of death was not disclosed by the child of Nonoy but, through a source, it was revealed that he had a shot in his head. Nonoy went through a lot of controversies in his life and eventually went through a lot of allegations as well. Despite that, he had his comeback in the House of Representatives. He was the Camarines congressman for nearly a decade and also completed three times and more as a marine.

According to one of the sources, it was claimed that Nonoy was in his room and his assistant was in the main hall when he heard a loud bang of a gunshot. When the gut shot was heard, the assistant ran to his room of Nonoy and found him dead inside. Another source revealed that he was found dead inside his room, and he was shot in his head. All of this was speculated to be a suicide case, and prominently Nonoy might have committed suicide. And the reason was revealed by the family, other sources are giving the information out. Over the years Nonoy was the major subject of headlines as he has been a part of many controversies. Nonoy started his career back in 1996 and he won eventually in 1998. He was an outspoken member of Congress. He served as a congressman from 2001 to 2006 winning two times the elections. He was not elected for years in between but after recent elections, he was appointed as the congressman and was holding his position until late 2020. He was now on leave and was not at any kind of holdings however he was actively a part of the government.
