It was earlier said that David’s stepfather passed away in the shooting but it was his biological father who passed away in the shooting. The shooting occurred on the 3rd of August 2022 at Saint Laurent, Ahuntsic-Cartieville boroughs of Montreal. David’s stepfather asked him to pay attention to his passion and David began boxing and became more particular in his passion for boxing. David’s biological father and his mother had one more child before David and before David’s birth, they separated. David’s stepfather raised and took care of David until he was mature. David pursued his passion as his career and is now living separately. David’s mother was born during the world wars and she grew up in Beirut when there was a war ongoing, she was adopted and taken care of by a revolutionary group during the 1980s.
How Did David Lemieux’s Father Die?
After a failed attempt of been killed by many people in the group, Aznive, David’s mother, and Aznive’s mother, and her sister left Lebanon and shifted to Canada. After moving to Canada, she since has been living there her whole life. David’s biological father Andre died in the shooting and David shared a post on his social media saying Rest in peace Dad. Marie Dandenault, Chief Inspector of Montreal police said that they are currently investigating the case and she also said that there is no link between the victims which signifies that the shooting was random and there is no particular motive found behind the killing until now. Marie added that they are looking for everything they could right now to find any sort of connection or information about the accused.
Who Are The Victims Of Shooting?
As said by the police, the shooting occurred on Tuesday around 9:45 pm and the first gunshot was heard near the area of Jules-Poitras and deguire Boulevards. The victim is the 64 years old Andre Lemieux father of David. The second victim that passed away in the shooting was a mental health worker named Mohammad Salah Belhaj who was 48 years old and he used to work at the Albert-Prevost Mental Health Hospital. As said by the police there is no connection between the two victims and the shooting occurred in two different places, so police are still investigating the case and there is no motive found behind the shooting until now.
