The Inquisitr has uncovered a chilling video that shows a Russian tank “peacekeeping” against an apparently unarmed elderly couple in their car. In the video, a Russian military tank tracks the retired couple, who are accidentally moving in front of the tank on a city street. Interestingly, this peacekeeping effort by the Russians is made to look like a SWAT team operation and not an attack by tanks.

In the latest patch of civilian tragedy in the Ukraine crisis, an elderly couple was killed by a Russian “peacekeeping tank” which first “shot” at their car before detonating a bomb inside it. A YouTube video shows the scene of carnage. The vehicle, which is a simple Russian-built ГАЗ-131, a rough equivalent to Ukraine’s older ЦИБРОМ (Triboro) mobile patrol hut, suddenly jumps ahead of the woman behind the wheel, drifts sideways and comes to a halt with its backside up against the couple while they are traveling in the middle of a road.

Video has emerged showing an elderly couple being blown to pieces by a Russian tank in a town that saw intense fighting in the final stages of the Second World War. The chilling footage shows a Russian ‘special peacekeeping’ T-34 tank running over 71-year-old Aleksandr Shcherbakov and 67-year-old Lyubov Shcherbakova, killing them both. The footage was recorded by a dashboard camera and posted by outspoken critics of the Russian intervention, who could not be identified for security reasons. It shows an armoured column of the 15th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade passing through the town of Novosvitlivka in eastern Ukraine on Tuesday.
