He took his final breath on Wednesday, 21st September 2022 in AIIMS, Delhi, India. According to the reports he was admitted to AIIMS 40 days back and after a battle of more than 1 month, he lost his life. His passing news is officially asserted by Kunal Srivastava who is his nephew. Kunal stated that it is quite unexpected for the family as he was recovering but in the spite of showing improvement in health, he left his family, fans, friends, and loved ones in a shocking and devastating state. As per the report, the late comedian had a cardiac arrest on 10th August 2022 and since then he was admitted to the hospital after he complained about pain in his chest while running on a treadmill. He has also undergone an angioplasty the same day. He was on a life support system at the medical institution. His nephew stated that he got back consciousness after fifteen days when he was on ventilator support. Though on 1st September 2022, he was again placed on ventilator support as he was suffering from 100 degrees fever. The wife of the late comedian talked to the media outlet on 6th September 2022 and she stated that “All I can say is now that the condition of my husband is stable and he is on ventilator support.

The medical staff is working great and taking care of him and we are requesting his fans for their prayers. We are hoping for his fast recovery. We have not decided on the last rites yet and at present, we are requesting privacy.” The late comedian became popular in the year 2005 after he participated in the 1st season of the famous stand-up comedy show titled “The Great Indian Laughter Challenge”. After that, he worked in several movies such as “Aamdani Atthanni Kharcha Rupaiya”, “Maine Pyar Kiya”, “Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon” and so on.
